I flew back to Sydney today, with a different airline and a direct flight.
I managed to get seated in the front row = always nice re legroom, and getting in/out past the other passengers.
For food I had the choice of "chicken with mash and beans" or "creamy mushroom gnocchi". After seeing the gnocchi in the seat next to me, and then my chicken, I really wish I'd chosen the gnocchi.
The potato and beans were great. The "chicken" in mustard gruel was just awful.
At least the wine flowed freely for the entire 90 minutes... I was drinking a really good pinot noir from NZ

I am getting all excited... 6 weeks to go and it's the bestest 2-3 months of the year... Shepherd Avocado season
I try to eat some fruit/veggies everyday, you'd be amazed how often this just turns into 2 or 3 avocados
Sorry Doc I remember your allergy. I am sure you mountain-men have other tasty treats to get you by though?

Thanks. So far I've been controlling my eating to be something like I will be eating in the future. Well I've lost 22 pounds since 1/25 Dr visit.
As far as eating...
I'm making another Pot Roast today in the slow cooker. I did put potatoes in there for my son. I'll skip those. He didn't get any of the last batch. So I'm not telling my daughter this time.

Well after today's adventure with stormy winds, arcing power lines, and the power company coming out to fix things... 
At the dinner hour...
Crock pot chicken was almost done anyway when they turned the power off, but the rice?
Plan "B" = get out the camp stove!
LED lantern made the meal so romantic!
