Do you set the Coleman and thermos down on the floor to travel or are they mounted on the counter?
How do you find stuff rides in the trailer, since they’re not really designed for smooth riding? I’m on an air ride suspension and still have to ensure stuff is put away before traveling.
Have you thought about insulating the roof to control the interior temps? Looks very functional!
Thanks for the interest. I've had a lot of fun with this rig.
Insulation on the roof is in the works, and probably the walls. This thing literally fell into my lap with a Kawasaki Vulcan in it, fixed and sold the bike, and found that I had $500 into the trailer then. Had to flip and weld the axles to get some lift out of it, and it still might get a new set of independent torsion axles under it soon too. When I bought it, the guy had 2X4's lagged screwed to the floor for hold downs of the Vulcan.
The water jug has fallen once, and that's when I placed tie downs on everything on the counter. The stove stays there very nicely, that jug doesn't move now.
If I know I'm heading down a rough road or path, I'll drop the tire pressure down to 15-20 PSI, and it rides a lot nicer.
I have a propane catalytic heater that takes the chill off, and then make coffee with the stove and it will warm up pretty nice in there. Layers for the sleeping bag make a HUGE difference to be comfortable at night, and it's still a lot better than a tent.
And this silly bag works great too.

When it’s a small space, it sure doesn’t take much of a heater to warm it and insulation will make it that much better.
Do you find there’s much of a condensate issue when using either heater?
We use a “wheel dock” (www.wheeldock.com). They work quite well. I got ours long before they had any accessories like they show now, but the unit is the same. I mounted bolt points in the floor with plates under the floor (much larger than those they show) with button head allen bolts. The floor is almost flat when the docks aren’t in place, as I put the bolts in to keep stuff out of the nut threads.
Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it! ), I haven’t trailered the bikes in a long, long time. We’ve ridden to everyplace if we’re riding to a spot. We never trailer.
We’d intended to find areas of interest, trailer there, then ride the area for several days having an rv to come back to every day. Life got in the way and we’ve never had the chance to go back to areas we enjoyed.

Really have had no condensation issues, at least no drips. I used to ride to every destination and camp along the way, but with age comes the desire to be somewhat comfortable, and get up three times a night.
The trailer popped up, used a couple of times with guilt of not riding there.... and quickly got over that when I was in the trailer at Overland Expo and heard tent zippers at night and guys falling in the mud at 2 AM.
Then I figured out how to pack the bike to one side and have the cot ready for overnight stops, and that led me to finding all kinds of the out of the way abandoned places. It has made the trips longer, but exploring off the beaten path is even better in retired life. Met some great desert rats too.
Drive, explore, pull off and set up camp, crack a beer and cook dinner where ever. Life is Good.
The chock I have works, looked at better ones, but this one is simple and I can get it out of the way with two screws that go into floor sockets.

You do have a great minimalist setup. Stealthy and just big enough to be useful. It looks like a lot of fun!

Yep, the minimal. If I need more.... the other trailer comes out to keep the wife in comfort.

Not exactly....
Runs everything I need to. Only pops the circuit breaker when the A/C cycles back on while the microwave is running.

Honda definitely set the bar high when they started with those small generators. The 2000 is super quiet and the 3000 is only slightly louder.
Everybody else has had to play catch up if they decided to stay in the game.

Annual preventive maintenance while the rain is falling and the flood watch/warnings are all over the news. Ride in April so the pig got lifted up on the lift and stripped down.
New thermostat, coolant, brake fluid flush, fix the vacuum leak at those rotted off caps, and have a great attitude adjustment in my world. My garage, my tunes, my tools, my pig.
Tom and a few others kept me company.

I worked with one of those holistic mechanics once.
Seemed drained... always on the wrong ohm... sliding around the spilt oil in his crocs
Never seemed to get him timing right.

Made another useless project on the lathe today.
It's still raining, cold, and the wind is blowing.
Guess I'll make another!!

I’m great at making shavings! Every once in a while, I can break a tool while I’m at it.
