I was on topic. I don't especially care about the toxic behaviour from certain people. Forum life... One person who spends 14-16 hours a day online has spent 8 months stalking me online and still comes up with nothing. What a waste of a life! It doesn't bother me. What surprises me though is how many don't see the behaviour for what it is and even buy into it.

Poor fatty MVI got hurt, my main antagonists have had melt downs and Austin/mods went full ADVr giving bans without reason.

Yup! I'm still on a temporary ban, but after being away for a while, I realize I have zero interest in returning. ADV v2.0 has sucked all the fun out of ADV v1.0 which kept many of us actively involved. I realize now I was still there just from force of habit and a misplaced sense of loyalty.

The number of people that discuss:
(a) motorcycling of any style...
(b) old enough to not really partake heavily in 'modern social media platforms'...
(c) like the 5000 or so people that do *both* (a) and (b)
mean that you'll always run into people that are in all three of those sub-groups.
I had to get away from some of the
other old men on other forums for some of the reasons that drive her crazy.

Not sure I get your point? I am an old man. I still like to ride, often & far. I no longer go off pavement but I still camp. And I am addicted to the internet.

I guess you missed the melt down over there where the site owner got involved. Maybe not considering you post here right in the middle of it. When the melt down happened I hadn't posted there for three weeks. The problem was clearly not me.
You should realise I am mocking those people.

That is unlikely. ADVr, ADVb and here are the only sites you're likely to recognise me.
I am a collector of new and old Ducatis. I participate on two related sites and get along well with everyone there.
I have really only had problems with rejected basement denizens, malcontents from places like ADVr who don't get along with anyone.

I posted to let my friends know I was ok after breakup with boyfriend and back to riding solo. So, I got banned for posting "personal drama". I was on the forum for a very long time, even supporting it.
