Last Sunday on the way back from Diego a little problem with the steering...
The workshop of the renter being in Diego the car is returned to them and I have a spare car (with well worn tires..)

October 10th to 12th

Monday 10, departure around noon from the city center and stop at 8 pm in a recent hotel.

Tuesday 11, departure at 5.30 am and arrival at 4.3 pm in the city where we have a project team.
We were only 2 hours and 100km from our main base but there was a meeting next morning so I stayed overnight.

Wednesday 12, after the meeting, direction my office, 2h drive.

October 11th

If for the first day the road was relatively good, it is not the case anymore for this second day and still we are in dry season on the other hand in rainy season the road is sometimes blocked 4 to 6 days the time to take out the trucks trapped in the "pools".

Nothing special, it's a road I do regularly, 100km in 2 hours.

October 15th - "my car is back"
I went to the city to exchange the wheels and get the ones with the "good tyres".

Every day when I open the door:








It was impossible to do 2000km with these tyres:
(so the exchange was done while the car was stopped for repair)

Tuesday November 1 being a holiday, I left for Diego Suarez:

The French Mountain with its viewpoint, but before there are the steps, +620...

In Diego I was in a hotel down town near the port:

Second try, to go "to see the sea".
Here the sea is not very far but there is the mangrove and one cannot go directly to the shore...

Saturday, November 12,

One Saturday out of 2 we are off, this allows us to leave for a "weekend"...
Once again I went to Diego Suarez, this time I stayed in a hotel at the beach of Ramena.















The beach is less than 5 minutes away by a small path:

This part of the beach is "less animated" than the one with the small cafes a little more to the north.
