"A man is like a bicycle: Stop pedaling and you crash. You have to keep going" -- Emerson Fittipaldi
There are plenty of things that, in small doses, are therapeutic, if only to the spirit. Today, we seem to be stuck on a binary view of all things: It is a fix or it is useless. That something might be helpful, but not a cure, is unthinkable.

My dad loved eggnog and we always had it around when I was a kid this time of year. I bought some this year and the wife just looked at me like "Why?".
(she doesn't like it)
BIG egg nog fan here..I cant seem to get enuff of the golden nectar .. growing up, my dad owned a A&W rootbeer stand..after he retired and closed it down, I scored several A&W mugs, and I still have them. They sit in the feezer, just as they did at the rootbeer stand so I always have a frosted mug handy, especially for EGG NOG! As you get to the bottom of the mug O nogg, the frosted nogg on the sides slide down to the bottom thus creating a delicious Nogg Icing..life is good
I was, maybe, 11 years old and accompanied my father to drop off Christmas gifts to his brother. My uncle asked us if we wanted an 'nog'. We, of course, said sure.
That was the first eggnog and whiskey I ever had. It was probably Black Velvet. These days I make mine with Southern Comfort, and a tasty drink it is.

AM NOT a drinker at all..I am however a CHEAP drunk and can get shitfaced on one can of beer
I do have some Captn Morgan and will try a lil' bit of that in my nogg later today..just seems that spiced rum would be better than whisky, doesn't it?
