Found an interesting Italian restaurant... they use schnitzel as their pizza base. Crumbed meat of your choice, cooked, then the pizza stuff goes on top and into the pizza oven.
I had mushroom & olive 'pizza'.
Hey I'll try almost anything once.

I made this yesterday ,I had been for years on and off trying to make a good crumb coffee cake !
Finally I had succuss! That moist daisy cake bottom.
And a new crumb top . What a great marriage they made!!
I had tried 100's of tops over 40's yrs. and never hit it. This top is the bomb !
I never though of using Cake flour in it ! I believe that was the trick..
Now to get the timing of when to put the topping on while it's baking..
The batter is too thin at first, so it must bake for a bit..
Plus the crumbs are a tad heavy at first as well..

It's winter here... it's cold, with wind that's blustery and there's a gale-force warning for tomorrow.
Our solution is to sit here sipping dark smoky rum from Barbados

From Italy, and very tasty.
I think it translates as a double-malted bock?

6 eggs and 5# of sugar in just one pie will make a mess of most of our blood chemistries!
