Is Camp being hacked?

Over the last few days the Banned Camp server has gone "offline" for several hours at a time, e.g. I can read the posts in the morning then all day the server won't respond, server can't be found (etc.) errors. I tried two different internet providers (home, and cellular) with three different devices.
Perhaps we are being hacked?
Or, perhaps Camp Director is turning off the server at the wall power point before going to bed each night?

Camp Director + Mrs Camp Director are probably giggling away happily each night as they click off the power to the server

Actually, I think my hosting company is doing some upgrades to the server.

If the Camp Director of Banned Camp is having issues with his server being switched off...
Is the Director being banned from his own banned camp?
