This next one is the only movie quote I used regularly in everyday life:

(a) man's got to know his limitations...

the 1973 movie magnum force - a classic Dirty Harry movie.

I believe the actual quote is “You’re a good man lieutenant. A good man always knows his limitations.”

Then a quick google search showed that later on in the movie he says it again, this time just 'A man’s got to know his limitations.' Then again later on as 'A good man always knows his limitations.'

Nope. Right track though............. War time comedy. Even has Jack Nicholson in it in one of his VERY early minor roles. Along with Larry Hagman and Peter Marshall.
