I usually use my laptop (my only 'computer') for this forum. It's a Macbook air (the cheapest base model) running Safari as the browser.
When I log in, I tick the box to 'remember me' and it does. I can go for weeks/months without having to login again.
But... sometimes I use my little tablet (iPad mini 2). It also runs safari. Stupid thing forgets I am logged in even after just reading a few threads. Yes, I tick the little box for 'remember me'.
Any ideas? Anyone else got it working on their tablet?
I run a macbook pro and chrome here..I have a ipad but have not used it to log in..I should give it a try and see what it does..my only gripe with safari is that it does not block all the ads and popups where chrome does a pretty good job at that

I am using a Surface pro. While it has the capability of operating without the attached keyboard, I have yet to find an opportunity to use it as a "tablet". But it always remembers my log in.
An update to my first post - re iPad login not working / constantly logging out.
Today by pure chance I clicked into banned camp on the browser in my Android phone... haven't logged in here with that device in months (I can't even remember when I last used it).
Damned thing took me straight in, no need for passwords, it remembered me.
So... why does the iPad not work, but the Android does?
I'd try downloading a different browser like Dolphin. Or you may have private browsing enabled where it doesn't remember history? Or it could be that your device memory is completely full and not allowing it to retain internet history?
