So, when it's 100+ for 60-odd days a year, you'd think you get used to 'hot'.
You don't.
Because it never cools off.
The *low* was in the lower to mid-80's. At 5 in the morning, just as the sun rises.

When I was in Afghanistan it was averaging 120 degrees in the shade for a few weeks. We didn't have A/C except in the vehicles. One night while I was sleeping, I got really cold and pulled out my poncho liner to wrap up in to keep warm so I could sleep.
Turns out it had dipped down to 78 degrees over night. Brrrrr.

It's finally thawing out in N Texas. It was warmer in Newark NJ Wed when I flew home than it was here. Then my son called from Tampa asking advice on winterizing his new travel trailer. Global warming is mighty cold.
