Summer time snacks

Post by drlewall »

On hot summer days, I find refreshment in the way of frozen veggies right out of the bag. Sure a popsicle if GREAT, but a good substitute is a handful of frozen corn or what ever you like. My faves are corn, green beans and peas. Cauliflower is pretty darn good too. :DukeGirl

I quite like a cold beer from the fridge, or some icecream.

Or both.

Vanilla ice-cream in a bowl, add a shot or two of rum as the sauce.

Melts the ice-cream, and the ice-cream softens the rum 'taste' for those who normally don't drink spirits.
