Gotta a job on the bike!

Post by campfire »

So a couple of riding buddies have been doing it for years, but they are busy and one sold his bike.
So they ask me if I wanted the gig this year. Paid? For riding my bike? :wings I'm in.
I am now the official motorcycle driver for the official photographer of the http://napavalleymarathon.org/ on Sunday.

We'll see how this works out. Sounds like fun, but the other two told me at coffee this morning "Sure, you'll have fun. Yeah, you'll like it."

Supposed to be $100 plus .53 cents a mile.

why not?

Very cool! Congratulations! :Clap

They use a lot of motorbike riders like this for the bicycle races. You might get your foot in the door there too.

Had a lot of fun once the fog lifted and the sun came out.

I did this a couple of years ago...for a triathlon. Well, it was a Olympic Triathlon. Whatever... :ImaPoser

Anyway, all we were asked to do was monitor the bike-riding part of the event - 28mi bike course.

The whole process of scoring riders was an educational point for me - they're NOT allowed more than a few seconds to draft, for example.

I'd do it again, if asked.
