Well I am impressed with the speed !
And the free TV !!
OMG so many westerns that we haven't see in a long time and some we have never seen..
So far very happy we made the change ..There is a pretty good learn curve on the Roku..
But it's not all that bad..

It took us 15 yrs... But finally .....
That's a good price $70.95 is the 100 MPS . Here
I took the 50 MPS.. For $ 65... It's truly fast enough.
We can run the TV and both 'puters ,and nothing is slow..

Run the test. Then, in the top left corner there will be a SHARE button. Click and select "FORUM". That copies the link to your clipboard. Then just paste it in your forum post as an image.

I know it's not throwback Thursday yet, but reading all of this made me think back to our first computer.
With a dial up modem.
And you were hoping for a "56K" connection, but you only saw "connected at 2800kps".
(can you hear that static sound?)
Then somewhere in there was the first DSL line that ran around 6400bps. And thought that was awesome!
And then that "cable" thing came out with speeds measured in "Megabits" per second. WOW!
Now if a video buffers a bit we scream.
A cabin in the woods sounds nice, but I wouldn't want to go back to some old school stuff.

I was out on the road a while back and stayed with a friend that still had DSL, "log on to my network, save the data on your phone" he said.
I think it took me six minutes to get my email, all four of them. Logged off and went back to cell data.
I'm a spoiled rotten little biotch when it comes to that stuff. HOWEVER-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- I sure have been leaving my phone at home a lot more when I go out some place. Makes it so nice, no one bothering me in the middle of eating or shopping. And I don't forget what I went to the store for as much either.

You actually have the ability to shut off the world. People seem to completely forget that simple fact.
Turn off the outside feed and just live your life for a while, you might just lose a lot of stress and anxiety. Way too many people seem to exist just to get other people spinning.

Our 'puters are the only thing that keeps us connected to others.
No one calls us, So no texting ,landlines can't .. Only few people have our number..
The phone rang the other day ,HB and I looked at each other in Shock !
Every now and then Doc calls us

But that's it...
Tell a marketer's call but we have that cut down to once a week now..
