While you're rebuilding... Maybe, just maybe can you turn on the switch so that when I open a thread it goes to the last unread post?
At this time and it was before, Either go to last post or first post. That makes for a bunch of scroll work on long threads.
Thank you.
The link for this is at the top of every thread. :thumb

p.s. to state the obvious leave this until after you’ve had a break :thumb
Done. I am sure there will be other little things pop up.

That gives me the list of threads that I have not read yet. But when I open the thread on the left it goes to 1st post. On the right it is last post. not last unread post.

When I open a thread that has unread posts, at the top there is a link to jump to the first unread post. Sort of top centre. Just to the left of the thread page numbers / number of posts in the thread.

OK. I found that button. I gather CD has chosen to make this a 2 step process for a reason. I guess I can work with that.

Found it this time, wasn't an option last time I logged in.

I'm using pro-silver special edition.

As I said before I'm really digging the green/black

It's also very festive as it has red too..

First step of course is the https URL as per Lady D.

After that, it seems to be somewhat browser and operating system sensitive.

On my new mac, the iPad, and the iPhone, all is well. This is with both safari, and duckduckgo, browsers.

On my older mac [2019, OS 10.14.4], safari [12.1] won't load the website at all, and firefox will let me login but won't remember me...

No biggie I just don't login on the older computer :thumb

The new forum software probably has lots of auto-default settings, sadly.

I suffer through this with every update to some software at work [all settings reset to default]. :wall

I added a simpler media embed extension. To embed a video, copy the link to your clipboard and then paste your video link in your post.
