Forum Software Update

I will be updating the forum software to the latest version in the coming days. To do this I will need to remove the aftermarket styles and artwork. So, when you log in you will see the forum in the default view till the update is completed. The latest version of PHPBB software has some additional features and will be a big improvement.

Well that's a relief. I logged on this morning and saw the format and thought my computer had a virus.
Went for a motor-sycle ride and came back to everything working again.

Hey, don't congratulate me yet. I have not even started the update process. I need to clean up the database and a few other housekeeping chores first. But, it's not going to happen till I get back home. Doing anything on a small tablet is hard on my eyes.

What a ride. Hackers suck.

My account with a hosting provider was attacked with a PHP re-infector piece of malware. Within minutes it installed over 30,000 pieces of script throughout my ten websites and forums. Then when I would get everything cleaned up, it would do it again.

This gave me the chance to upgrade ADVbannedcamp to the latest version of phpBB forum software. Lots of new features to play with. If you don't like the dark style, click on your profile and change it to another one you like. There are a few to chose from. I'll get around to adding the cool ADVbannedcamp logo as time goes on. First I need to get a few more websites back on the air.

Thanks for your patience with this. I really hope it doesn't happen again. Hackers suck.
