We went to some in-laws and ate way too much food as I watched way too many vaguely familiar people and their children make way too much noise. At least they were having fun.

Our neighbor down the road invited us to watch him NOT blow has fingers off..

I live in a long valley between two fair sized mountains. During the summer I get free fireworks displays several nights a week. I'll sit outside and smoke a cigar w/cuppa joe and watch. Last Saturday (29th) we had some severe storms all around but not in the valley combined with the fireworks it was a cool light show.

I get to see the shows from surrounding communities from my yard. I'm out in the country and I've got good sight lines to where they do their official shows.
