Heavenly sights
If you live in the USA, tonight is a great night to see the ISS pass overhead lit up, the brightest thing in the sky by far.

Re: Heavenly sights
I used to watch it all the time, have the app on my phone & iPad.
Thanks for reminding me, went out and watched it last night. Always amazes me that the thing is traveling at 17,255 miles per hour.
That's 25,307 feet per second.
A 45 caliber bullet fire from a pistol travels at 1,250 feet per second.
A bullet from an AR-15 rifle travels at 3,000 feet per second.
And when I saw it last night on the horizon, it was a 1/4 of the way between me and Hawaii.
They see 16 sunrises in a 24 hour period.
But they can't ride their motorcycle to the store for beer.

It's not just the James Webb Space Telescope that's new for NASA.
The Imaging X-Ray Polarimetry Explorer has sent its first image.
